Last updated: 03/07/2026
1. Introduction
Let It Post ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and timezone preference.
User Content
We store video files, audio files, images, and text content that you upload for the purpose of providing the Service (video assembly, processing, and publishing).
Third-Party Account Data
When you connect social media accounts (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, OnlySocial, etc.), we collect and store the following information necessary to publish content on your behalf:
- Authentication tokens — OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens used to interact with platform APIs
- Account identifiers — platform-specific user IDs (e.g., TikTok open_id, YouTube channel ID)
- Basic profile information — display name and avatar URL, as provided by the platform
We do not access your private messages, follower lists, or analytics data on any connected platform.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process and publish your video content to connected platforms
- Send notifications about publishing results and account activity
- Generate AI-powered content (titles, descriptions, hashtags) for your posts
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers located in the United States. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:
- Social media platforms — to publish content on your behalf, as directed by you
- Service providers — third-party services that help us operate (hosting, payment processing, AI services)
- Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights
6. TikTok Integration
When you connect your TikTok account to Let It Post, we use TikTok's official API (Login Kit and Content Posting API) to authenticate your account and publish videos on your behalf.
Data We Collect from TikTok
- open_id — a unique identifier for your TikTok account within our application
- display_name — your TikTok profile display name
- avatar_url — your TikTok profile picture URL
- Access and refresh tokens — used to authenticate API requests and automatically refreshed when expired
- Creator info — privacy level options and maximum video duration supported by your account
How We Use TikTok Data
- To display your connected TikTok account name and avatar in the dashboard
- To publish video content to your TikTok account when you initiate or schedule a post
- To query your account's posting capabilities (supported privacy levels, max video duration)
Data Storage and Security
TikTok authentication tokens are stored in our encrypted database. Tokens are automatically refreshed before expiry and updated in place. We do not share your TikTok credentials with any third parties.
Revoking TikTok Access
You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from the Social Accounts page in your dashboard. When you disconnect, we immediately delete all stored TikTok tokens and account data from our systems. You can also revoke access directly from TikTok's settings under "Manage app permissions."
Content Publishing
Videos are published to TikTok only when you explicitly initiate a post or when your pre-configured schedule triggers automatic posting. Before each scheduled post, the system uses your stored authentication to upload the video via TikTok's Content Posting API. You retain full control over scheduling, privacy settings, and content configuration.
7. Facebook & Instagram Integration
When you connect your Facebook Page or Instagram Business account to Let It Post, we use Meta's official Graph API (Facebook Login, Pages API, and Instagram Content Publishing API) to authenticate your account and publish video content on your behalf.
Data We Collect from Meta
- Facebook user ID — an app-scoped identifier for your Facebook account
- Page ID and name — the Facebook Page you authorized for publishing
- Page access token — used to publish content to your Page
- User access token — used to manage Page connections, automatically refreshed
- Instagram Business account ID and username — if linked to your Facebook Page
- Profile picture URL — displayed in your dashboard
How We Use Meta Data
- To display your connected Facebook Page and Instagram account in the dashboard
- To publish videos and Reels to your Facebook Page when you initiate or schedule a post
- To publish Reels to your Instagram Business account when you initiate or schedule a post
- To refresh access tokens to maintain your connection
We do not access your personal Facebook profile, friends list, private messages, Facebook Groups, or any data beyond what is required for video publishing to your authorized Pages.
Revoking Meta Access
You can disconnect your Facebook/Instagram accounts at any time from the Social Accounts page in your dashboard. You can also revoke access from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. When you revoke access through Facebook, we receive a deauthorization callback and automatically deactivate your connected accounts.
Data Deletion
When you remove Let It Post from your Facebook account, Meta sends us a data deletion request. We immediately delete all stored tokens and account data associated with your Facebook user ID. You can verify the status of your data deletion using the confirmation URL provided by Facebook.
8. YouTube Integration
When you connect your YouTube channel, we collect OAuth tokens, channel identifiers, and basic profile information. This data is used exclusively to upload videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf. The same data storage, security, and revocation practices described for TikTok (Section 6) apply to YouTube. You can revoke access at any time from your dashboard or from Google Account → Third-party apps & services.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Video files generated by the Service are automatically deleted 3 days after successful publishing. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
